The NORTHSTAR Forwarders Alliance 2nd Annual Partnership Meeting, held from August 21 to 25, 2023, at the prestigious Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center in Turkey, was successfully concluded.

The 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) was effectively co-located with The Freight Summit (TFS) & EMERGE Freight Alliance, attracting over 400+ freight forwarders from around the world, including our 70+ specialized FCL Forwarders.

As the premier FCL Forwarders Alliance, we're grateful to our FCL forwarding members for their trust. This meeting has evolved into a valuable platform for building relationships and fostering connections.

NORTHSTAR FCL Forwarders kicked off its official event on August 21 with the Network Management Updates from NORTHSTAR's Director & Co-Founder, Mr. Christian Reauber, and EMERGE's Director & Co-Founder, Mr. Melvin Xavier.

Nils Walle, NORTHSTAR's Director & Co-founder, also presented the Tips for Effective Networking, followed by the Newbie Open Mic session, during which some of the new NORTHSTAR members introduced themselves.

After the Network Management Updates, the NORTHSTAR FCL Forwarders, along with the delegates from EMERGE, had the opportunity to socialize and converse during the Opening Mixer.

The evening was filled with dancing, laughter, and meaningful connections, making it a truly enjoyable opening night!

One of the main highlights of our annual partnership meetings is the ‘Face-to-Face Meetings’.
Our FCL Forwarders were given the opportunity to meet with hundreds of other freight forwarders from TFS & EMERGE during the Face-to-Face Meetings.

More than 400 freight forwarders from all over the world were able to connect with each other and build business opportunities together. It was indeed a very fruitful day!

Bringing the world together, the Joint Welcome Cocktail successfully united the world in Istanbul.

The cocktail reception was bustling with our NORTHSTAR, TFS & EMERGE freight forwarders, each dressed in their national attire or wearing something that represented their country. This made it a truly global celebration!

It was truly an amazing night for our freight forwarders to meet and reconnect with other colleagues in the industry!

The conference isn't wrapping up just yet. Our NORTHSTAR FCL Forwarders have had the opportunity to gather once more with delegates from TFS & EMERGE and enjoy each other's company during a memorable cruise, where hundreds of freight forwarders from around the world mingled and bonded.

The three-hour cruise allowed everyone to take in the stunning nighttime views of Istanbul and catch glimpses of its historic landmarks, making the experience even more special.

Wrapping up the event, we hosted a closing happy hour. It was a great opportunity for attendees to unwind, socialize, and share some final moments together after the successful 2nd Annual Partnership Meeting.
